Phoenix Industrial solutions ( PIS ) offers low cost Helium Recovery systems which can charge & recover Helium gas from 1 SCFM to 15 SCFM at pressure ranging PSIG to 1000 PSIG

HRE is specially designed for volume jobs with mass production. The cycle time of such application is few seconds to few minutes. Typical application is for Leak testing of Heat exchangers used in Refrigerant circuits.

Due to mass production constraint in cycle time, units are designed for recoveries where the recovery Helium gas happens at the background while the production or testing is going on. Hence the cycle time of the application same. This configuration makes the system very productive.

The HRE system has potential of saving of Rs 6 Millions to Rs 50 Millions per Annum worth of Helium gas in a high production line.

Description

The HRE is a complete standalone unit which recovers the Helium gas from the application upto maximum. The system comprises of Helium Receiver , evacuation system, Helium compression system , instrumentation and Control system. automatic system takes care of automatic replenishment of the lost gas.

Operating Modes

The HRE system operation consists of Receiving & Compression

In the Receiving section the Helium gas is received in the vacuum vessel upon finish of the Test cycle. The receiver vessel ensures vacuum in order to ensure maximum recovery from the system. Multiple receivers are designed for M & H series due to higher test pressure application. Switching valves will be controlled through vacuum & pressure sensors for switching between the receivers.

In the Compression section the Helium gas is compressed using high efficiency oil free Helium compressors.

Helium is recovered during the Leak Test of the job is going on A high production line would require Online system where the recovery will happen at the background while the tests are going on. The recovery time depends upon the Test job volume, Pressure etc. The higher the job volume and test pressure the larger the recovery system becomes.

The lost Helium is automatically replenished through the automated control system.
